Quality management Quality assurance in Rheinburg-Klinik involves a comprehensive TQM system at the levels of structure, process and outcome. Organisation and management are structured so that all staff, depending on their position, are bound by the responsi- bility for high quality. The aim of TQM is to further the skills, personal responsibility and quality consciousness of all staff. The appropriateness of targets, performance and processes is re- viewed in a changing environment. A measurable and continuous improvement in quality is sought. Ongoing measurement of quality variables and comparison with targets are key elements in the culture of improvement.
