Specific, individual support
Actively incorporating the available resources into the
care provided, nursing staff give patients specific, individual support
to promote, maintain or restore their health and independence. Based on
the case history and an assessment of the self-care deficit, the care
to be provided is planned and continuously evaluated. Patients are actively
involved in the care process.
Therapeutic and activating care
Depending on their individual needs, patients are cared
for and supported by nursing staff in a reference-person care system,
particularly in relation to self-help, positioning, transfers and assistance
in everyday activities. The specialist care is characterised by a variety
of rehabilitation approaches. Nurses are guided by the Bobath concept,
basal stimulation as well as the Affolter concept and the Facio Oral Tract
Therapy developed by Kay Coombes.
Quality and expertise
In order to guarantee a high quality of care and nursing
expertise, considerable importance is placed on continuing specialist
training of nursing staff in-house and on external courses.
