Conditions treated
The Rheinburg-Klinik concentrates on the acute in-patient
after-care and rehabilitation of patients with neurological and/or orthopaedic
diseases.
On a doctor’s referral, patients in the following disease groups (indications)
are admitted to the Clinic:
- Cerebrovascular diseases
(e.g. stroke)
- Chronic inflammatory diseases
(e.g. multiple sclerosis) or degenerative diseases
(e.g. Parkinson’s disease) of the central nervous system
- Following neurosurgical operations
- Neuromuscular diseases
- Damage to the peripheral nervous system
- Brain tumours (postoperatively or not operated on)
- Head injuries
- Spinal conditions (postoperatively or not operated on)
- Joint damage (postoperatively or not operated on)
- Damage to the locomotor system after accidents
