INTEGRATIVE TREATMENT CONCEPT

Examination and treatment is guided by a bio-psychosocial model. A consistent approach means that the rehabilitation process is stimulated and guided by staff from various fields of expertise.

The interdisciplinary rehabilitation team supports the patients and encourages their progress with individually adapted therapies, advice and care. Everyday activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating etc. are parts of the therapy.

In consultation with the patients, the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team sets individual rehabilitation goals and puts together an appropriate treatment programme, which is evaluated, and adjusted if necessary, at regularly held team meetings. The progress parameters are recorded and documented by periodic measurements and examinations.

Gradual progress through daily therapy adapted to the patient's individual abilities and goals, and instruction in activities of daily living are an important part of the treatment concept. Next of kin are actively included in the rehabilitation process.
